QP Semiconductor now part of e2v aerospace & defense inc.

QP Semiconductor, headquartered in Santa Clara, California and acquired by e2v in 2008 is now a part of e2v aerospace and defense inc.

e2v aerospace and defense inc was recently established by e2v as part of the group’s expansion of resources and capabilities focusing on the US military and aerospace electronics sectors

QP Semiconductor has been serving military, aerospace and high reliability industries for over 25 years and moving forward, e2v will continue offering QP’s US semiconductor capabilities as well as expanded services and solutions critical to mil/aero and hi-rel industrial OEMs.

“We have been part of the e2v group for two years,” said Jim Townsend, director of marketing for e2v’s Santa Clara semiconductor operations, “Our newly expanded services and resources will allow us to deliver against a wider range of unmet needs for sustaining our mil/aero customers’ systems in ways no other supplier can.
